Excellent material flow

The dosing slide is divided in a grid pattern, with a fixed upper grid and a lower grid that moves back and forth to ensure a smooth and stable material flow. There are no “dead spots,” thus maintaining the important first-in-first-out (FIFO) order.

Operating on the principle of gravity and a large surface area means there is no product bridging, compaction, or damage. The number of slides can be customized to form a complete silo assembly.

The slides can also be equipped with scrapers so that the silos, for example, pet food silos, can be cleaned 100%.

The slides are selected based on silo size, product characteristics, desired flow capacity and accuracy, and process type.

Various versions are available, and the slides can be easily adapted to the processes and environments in which they are used. The premix dosing slides have a special seal ring to prevent leakage, with special seals (FDA approved) to protect liquid materials such as milk powder or granules.

The product flow can be cut off at any time, with the subsequent flow remaining constant and predictable. The minimum dosage of a system like a screw conveyor is determined by the volume between two flights, whereas for a dosing slide, it is determined by the smallest possible increment. This is another benefit of the 1:1000 dynamic flow range.
